All of our products are made from choice hardwoods (cherry, walnut, maple, ash, etc.) with food-safe finishes and ABSOLUTELY NO STAINS. Cutting Boards are all pre-oiled with our own mixture of filtered beeswax and / or USP grade mineral oil, a widely available item that adds to the wood’s natural beauty and is completely food safe. We exclusively use a food-safe, waterproof glue,Titebond III .
We occasionally display a wider variety of culinary related products for shows and special orders but we have pretty much narrowed our product line down to edgegrain chopping & endgrain cutting boards ( Click here to learn more about board construction types and care), specialty serving boards, and a few other select products. Many of our products have already received public praise, for example, in 2006, Kristen Andresen (Shop Girl) wrote about the Artisan’s Marketplace and featured us in the Bangor Daily News:
